  33. They didn't ship the source files for Lightwave.  You can't copyright the
  34. CONCEPT or FUNCTIONALITY of a macro/plugin, just the form of expression.

  36. IOW, you could clone LW, as long as you didn't steal code.  Let's not get
  37. into the "look & feel" issue, because to a great extent macros have very
  38. little look and feel.

  40. ANYWAY, I just meant its a lot easier to copy when the source is sitting
  41. right in front of you.  They are copyrighted, as I recall.
